Things You'll Need Before Liftoff

What to bring

While you don’t need to bring anything specific for your flight, we highly recommend bringing a camera to capture the amazing views – and be sure to check your memory space! Our team is more than happy to take group photos for you, too.

What not to bring

When it comes to your flight, there are a few things we encourage you not to bring. Please leave purses and large bags on the ground or with the crew, where they will be securely stored for safekeeping and won’t take up additional space in the basket.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our flights last 45-60 minutes.

Dress comfortably as though you would for the day’s weather—especially in the summer—as it tends to be 5-10 degrees hotter in the balloon than the air temperature. Do not overdress. We recommend wearing sneakers or hiking shoes for support. No sandals, heels, or open-toed shoes are allowed in the hot air balloon.

Bring a camera of some sort (and be sure to check your memory space!).

No. There is no physical connection between the earth and the balloon such as there is in a tall building. This complete freedom seems to alleviate any apprehension or anxiety.

Our meeting location is at 1910 E Florence Blvd, Casa Grande, AZ 85122 beside the Texas Roadhouse and is easily accessible from Scottsdale, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Chandler, Tempe, Mesa, Gilbert, Sun City, and all other locations in the greater Phoenix area.

No. The balloon moves at the same speed as the wind, so there is no feeling of motion. The sensation of ballooning is the complete absence of sensation. “Tranquil,” “calm,” and “relaxing” are the words used most often by our passengers to describe ballooning.

Gratuities are not included in flight certificate pricing and should be extended to crew persons individually.

It’s wise to plan on hitting a restroom before you arrive at the Launch Site. Depending on the time of year, there may not be a restroom available.
